What is Discover Paris!TM?
We created Discover Paris!TM out of our love for the city and our desire to share our knowledge with travelers who want to experience Paris as an remarkable and dynamic place, rather than simply as a city that one should include when planning a sightseeing excursion of Europe.
What services does Discover Paris!TM provide?
- Private walking tours on black history, culture, and contemporary life in Paris
- A regularly-scheduled walking tour entitled "Black History in and around the Luxembourg Garden."
- A 1 ½-hour presentation on black history in 20th-century Paris entitled "Black Paris and the Myth of a Colorblind France."
- Gourmet walking tours and cooking classes
- Self-guided walking tours on gastronomic topics and black history in Paris
How much advance notice does Discover Paris!TM require?
Please contact us with your request for services at least six weeks prior to your departure date.
What about travel risks?
Discover Paris! shall not be responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages in connection with terrorist activities; social or labor unrest; mechanical or structural integrity of air, sea, and ground transportation and accommodations; diseases; local laws; terrorist acts; bankruptcy or cessation of supplier or carrier services; climatic conditions; Acts of God; delays; changes or cancellation of travel due to weather conditions, hotel services, accidents; or health-related problems before or while in-transit (e.g., an accident on the way to a tour), during, and after a tour; or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside of Discover Paris’ control.
If travel plans are delayed or cancelled for any reason, there will be no refunds issued by Discover Paris! There will be no refunds due to fear of travel from actual or threatened terrorist events.

The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is a free service to allow U.S. citizens and nationals traveling abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate. https://step.state.gov/step/

By embarking upon travel, the traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected. The traveler is hereby warned of abovementioned risks, and the possibility that he/she may be unable to travel as scheduled because of personal emergency.
